Oak Grove Golf Course – An Audubon Sanctuary
What does it mean for a golf course to be an Audubon Sanctuary? It means management and maintenance practices reflect a commitment to environmental stewardship. At Oak Grove Golf Course, we preserve and enhance natural areas on the property as valuable wildlife habitat. We practice water conservation and practice Integrated Pest Management, which means limiting application of chemicals and pesticides in favor of more naturalistic interventions. We not only seek to minimize harmful impacts of golf course operations, but also desire to improve the property’s conservancy value. We invite you to read annual reports spanning 2011-2014 to gain additional insight into the environmental stewardship ongoing at Oak Grove Golf Course.
